Transport

Taxi fare from the airport direct to Monash University Sunway Campus / Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa will be approximately RM70 / RM 80. Travel time is approximately 45 minutes to one hour.

Express train from the airport to Kuala Lumpur city will cost approximately RM35 per way. Travel time is approximately 28 minutes. The train terminal at the airport is on ground level, Block C of the covered car park. Then a taxi from Kuala Lumpur Central to the Sunway Resort Hotel would cost approximately RM35 / RM 40. Travel time is approximately 30 minutes.

Parking

Car parking is available at the Sunway Resort Hotel. Delegates staying at this hotel will be given complimentary parking during their stay.

Parking on Monash University Sunway Campus will be RM2 per entry.

Registration

The registration desk will be located outside the Plenary Theatre in building 2 at the Monash Campus.

During the Conference, the bulletin board located next to the registration desk will display any changes to the program or news about special events.

Delegates are asked to wear their Conference nametag at all times.

Messages for delegates will be left on the bulletin board next to the registration desk.

Dress code

As Malaysia is predominantly a Muslim country, it is advised to consider modest attire. The colour Yellow is traditionally used by royalty in Malaysia. As the event will be opened by the Prince from the State of Perak, delegates are advised not to wear yellow on the first day of the conference.

Weather

Malaysia is just north of the equator and enjoys a tropical climate with the dry season lasting from March to November. Days are warm and humid, with mild pleasant evenings. Year round temperatures range from 21C to 32C.
